Candle of Mercy

Pupils and staff at English Martyrs'  Primary School were delighted to welcome Fr. Paul Mason to the school on Monday 25 January. Fr. Paul celebrated Mass in the school hall and pupils from St. Augustine of Canterbury School handed over the special Candle of Mercy to our pupils.

This special Diocesan Mercy Candle will be passed around all primary schools in our Deanery.

On Wednesday 30th March 2016 staff and pupils celebrated Mass at St. Benedicts Catholic Primary School with Fr. Ryan and handed over the Candle of Mercy to them.
