The J@EMs meet once a week to read, study and discuss the Gospel. They also plan, prepare and deliver a whole school Collective Worship on a Tuesday.

Catholic Community

We are proud to belong to the Parish of English Martyrs' in Strood.  Fr Tom is a regular visitor to school and celebrates whole school Masses and liturgies with the children.  Sacramental preparation is run by the Parish.

Candle of Mercy

Pupils and staff at English Martyrs'  Primary School were delighted to welcome Fr. Paul Mason to the school on Monday 25 January. Fr. Paul celebrated Mass in the school hall and pupils from St. Augustine of Canterbury School handed over the special Candle of Mercy to our pupils.

 

This special Diocesan Mercy Candle will be passed around all primary schools in our Deanery.

On Wednesday 30th March 2016 staff and pupils celebrated Mass at St. Benedicts Catholic Primary School with Fr. Ryan and handed over the Candle of Mercy to them.
